Re: [eia] allow me to muddy the waters even more |
After talking to JJ in person today, I finally elicited from him the motivation for his suggestion. Remember the odd results we could have had with repatriation at the end of the Coalition War against Russia? If we hadn't made a side deal to take care of it, the British forces would have had to repatriate to the northern-most space in Norway (near the Arctic Circle). I see 2 possibilities here. One is that we could give the power being repatriated the option of being repatriated to the closest space in *allied* territory. (This is basically what we did after the Coalition War against Russia - we repatriated JJ's forces to Spanish controlled Finland rather than to British controlled Norway.) Another possibility is that we could stipulate that the space to which forces are repatriated can be no more than 2 spaces from a city. These are just 2 ideas off the top of my head. Maybe someone else will come up with a better one. But in any case, I think this problem should have a fairly easy solution once we put our minds to it. kdh ----- Original Message ----- From: "J.J.
