Orc, as Dan Ackroyd said about people who talk about John Belushi, you 
weren't there! I think it's fair to say that BvS is a prickly customer. The 
vast majority of Nomicroners reacted as if he had felt up the hostess, 
pissed in the punch bowl, popped his zits over the onion dip, and so on. In 
my humble estimation, as one who WAS there, he is absolutely entitled to his 
opinion. Huzzah.
