The first SOE, etc., was not a result of an actual problem, but simply bribery of the jury.

If I recall correctly, bd was the only one who actually got bribed; the Baron judged as e saw fit. There was an actual problem, namely that the wording was ambiguous, so it was unclear who was correct.

The second round of craziness _was not caused my change_.

It was caused by Wonko's societies prop that caused the current loophole.

My change only brought this error into view.

I'm somewhat confused as to what prop you're referring to... the current problem is, as near as I can tell, that your most recent society proposal removed the part of r578 which defined what a charter is; although the most recent revision of that rule prior to your change was performed by me, that was over an nyear ago.
