I'm not a megalomaniac...at least in the sense you mean. I admit, it's cool to say "I rule!" on my blog and be able to back it up...:) But fixing the legacy units could have been done through petitioning myself as Overlord, and since I can be voted out as Overlord if people think it's necessary I consider that sufficiently un-non-consentual. At this point, this is an exercise in...who was it that presented the challenge? To create a truly immutable rule? But your proposal doesn't work. R1219 says it can't be changed or repealed except by me, whereas you're changing R10 to say R1219 can be repealed by a proposal. That creates a direct conflict between R1219 and R10, which means the Chutzpah kicks in and R1219 takes priority, no matter which way the ID numbers go. And R1219 prevents the proposal from repealing it. The rule change the proposal makes, at least, is legal. It just doesn't work.
