[s-b] Proposal: Hose Will Vote For This |
I'd appreciate comments on this proposal especially in terms of what undead powers could exist and how they'd work and about balance of costs of different modes of soul piece acquisition. { In Rule 4E24 (RPG), replace the text: {{ If a Player's Hit Points would ever be set to a value less than 0, it is instead set to 0. Any Player whose Hit Points equal 0 is considered to be "Dead". All other players are considered to be "Alive". }} by: {{ If a Player's Hit Points would ever be set to a value less than 0, it is instead set to 0. Any Player whose Hit Points is set to 0 gains the "Dead" Property and loses the "Alive" or "Undead" Properties. Upon joining the Game, a Player gains the "Alive" Property", and may be said to be Living. }} All Players considered to be "Alive" at the time of this Proposal's Passing gain the "Alive" Property. All Players considered to be "Dead" at the time of this Proposal's Passing gain the "Dead" Property. Create a new Rule, entitled "Beyond the Grave", with the text: {{ There is an Attribute "Killer" with a scope of all Dead and Undead Players, a range of all Players and "Circumstances", and a default Value of Circumstances. When a Player gains the Dead Property, his Killer Value is set to the Player who directly caused him to become Dead, if such a Player exists. There is an Attribute "Necromancer", with a scope of all Undead Players, a range of all Players, and a default Value of "None Yet". When a Player gains the Undead Property, his Necromancer Value is set to the Player who caused him to become Undead. There is a List Attribute "Soul Piece" with a scope of all Living Players, a range of all Players, a MinLength of 0, a MaxLength of the number of Players, and a default value of {}. A given Player may be represented by at most one Article on any other given Player's Soul Piece List Attribute. If a Player ceases to be Alive, all Articles are removed from his Soul Piece List Attribute. A Living Player whose Soul Piece value includes himself, a Dead Player, and that Dead Player's Killer may, as a Game Action, Raise the Dead Player, giving him the Undead Property. These Articles are removed from the Living Player's Soul Piece value. Upon gaining the Undead Property, a Player loses the Dead Property and his Maximum Hit Points and Hit Points are set to 5. Whenever an Undead Player causes another Player damage, his Necromancer gains a corresponding number of Hit Points. An Undead Player who causes his Killer (unless he is his own Killer) to become Dead loses the Undead Property and gains the Alive Property. His Hit Points is set to 1. Once per rday, a given Undead Player may, as a Game Action, Gnaw a Living Player, dealing him 2 damage. Once during the first 3 days of an nweek, a given Undead Player may, as a Game Action, Infect a Living Player, giving him the Infected Property. At the end of an nweek, each Infected Player takes (10 minus damage he caused since becoming Infected, to a minimum of 0) damage and loses the Infected Property. }} In Rule 4E61 (DNA and Twins), add the following text: { Players with complementary DNA (wherein the character A is replaced by T, T by A, G by C, and C by G) are said to be each other's Replicants. } Create the following non-unique Blueprint, named "Necronomicon": {{ Price: m100 Creates Device: Identity Extractor Power: Replication Effect: a target Player is added to device owner's Soul Piece List Attribute. Device owner takes 2 damage. Device owner loses m200. Property: RPG Condition: Device owner is target Player's Replicant. Trigger: Game Action by device owner, clearly specifying target Player. Power: Voluntary Effect: a target Player is added to device owner's Soul Piece List Attribute. Triggering Player takes 4 damage. Device owner loses m200. Property: RPG Trigger: Game Action by Device owner, clearly specifying target Player, followed by explicit consent from target Player. Power: Kicking and Screaming Effect: a target Player is added to device owner's Soul Piece List Attribute. Device owner and target Player each take 4 damage. Device owner loses m200. Property: RPG Condition: Device owner's Hit Points is higher than target Player's Hit Points. Trigger: Game Action by device owner, clearly specifying target Player. Power: Grave Robbery Effect: a target Player is added to device owner's Soul Piece List Attribute. Device owner loses m(200 + 25 * rdays since target Player became Dead). Condition: Target Player is Dead. Trigger: Game Action by device owner, clearly specifying target Player. }} Dependency: Proposal 326 } Billy Pilgrim _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
