Add to Rule 1075 the following:

C. Integrity Repairs

A speeder's integrity can be repaired by WBE at a cost of 10 BNS and 5
RUs
per point of integrity. Integrity repairs are performed under the same
conditions as upgrades, though integrity repairs cannot be returned.

-Far, far too expensive. That means 1000 BNS and 500 RUs to recoup 100
points of damage. At 15 points per speeder, I'll just buy a new speeder - not only is it cheaper, but the money goes to vSOI, not to WBE. Now, if
you
changed that so that that price was per 5 points, I could see this as
viable. 200 BNS and 100 RUs are far more affordable.-

Your suggested cost is less than the cost to install a robopilot. I based my cost on slightly more than 1/10 of what it costs to install a storage bin, which is 1/10 of a speeder's size limit. Assuming 1/10 the size is close to (though probably less than) 1/10 the mass, that makes 1/10 of a storage bin at or less than 1/100 of a speeder.

Expensive to completely repair a speeder? You betcha. Just as it's cheaper to buy a whole new car than to completely repair one that's been run over by a tank. Though the repair would be paid for in BNS, whereas buying a speeder is paid for in points. There are many circumstances (just after a post-win meltdown, for example) when a player with a speeder might have a lot more BNS than points.

Though I am concerned with the RUs. Most of the upgrades use rather a lot of RUs, considering the BNS they pull in and how much it currently costs to extract RUs. At this rate, without a lot of recycling (which I assume is what Wonko wanted 40 speeders for), WBE isn't really a cost-effective operation. If people want upgrades to their speeders, we're going to have to work out a more balanced pricing structure, or a better method of getting materials.

It's expensive to completely repair a speeder, but the cost of replacement is not necessarily cheaper. While it is possible to buy the basic 'engine with a seat', if you have a speeder equipped with everything you could buy for it, it's going to cost you a lot more the 15 points to replace it. Besides, I suspect this will be used more in small bursts - Barney knocks 10 off my speeder, so I pay 100 BNS to get the dents out.

I personally think that 15 points is absurdly low for a speeder anyway. I'd charge at least 50. And I'd charge the equivalent in BNS, instead of points.
