I'd been toying with the idea of having all actions (yes, *all* actions) be web-form-submitted.  Even if this is little more than a textarea that someone would fill in and click a submit button for, this would at least shove the actions into a database that could be displayed with check-off buttons on the side.  They'd be available for review by players, and you could then work down the list as you recognized items and dealt with them.

As the recognition and dealing-with of items got fully automated, those items would have their own form as opposed to the textarea.  And if recognition was automatic, they wouldn't have to appear on the recognition queue any more, though they might still be available for public review.

Whaddaya think?
