Re: [eia] my introduction

I'm Michael Gorman and I'm working as a faculty assistant at University of Wisconsin - Madison teaching primarily physical chemistry but I wander over to the general division now and again too.

My father and one of my uncles are big wargame fans and my entire family has always played games of various sorts so I can't really recall a time when I was not into some sort of gaming. I did my undergraduate at Bowling Green where I met Kyle and JJ and then came up to Madison initially for grad school and ended up staying here.

I'd like to continue our current game as it's gone in very unexpected ways and I'd be curious to see how it plays out, but in the end it isn't that important to me that we keep going.

I share Kyle's concerns but the biggest thing I feel is working in our favor is that as we replace players who thought it might be a fun game with people who have been playing for years and know they find it a fun game, our odds of getting greater game lengths are also increasing.

So much as I would love to keep playing France, I'm willing to spin the wheel of bids again. It's pretty clear Fred never had the time to play but we're replacing him with someone who has been budgeting time for wargames for years so I think we're going to make a step up in game play.
