I find the idea of someone getting to see my land orders and then deciding
to revoke access even more troubling.

I may be outvoted on this, but I definitely think that allowing access
changes anytime is a very bad idea, especially during the middle of the land
phase.  For me, this is the issue, and not whether or not access is part of
an escrow; I couldn't care less about that.
