Re: [eia] French leaders |
OK, I'm convinced by the FAQ as well. That being said, I think we would all agree that it was legal for the French leaders to be _placed_ with the Swedish corps, it's just that they cannot be _used_ in a battle exclusively between Swedish and Prussian forces (in other words, they would be spectators only in such a battle). Am I correct about this ? I think it would be fair to allow Jim to unplace the leaders in light of this rules interpretation. But since the leaders can be used if British forces are involved in a battle with Swedish forces (even if it's a combined Anglo-Prussian army), I would not say that placing Davout/Bernadotte would be useless. Jim should consider this before deciding whether or not to unplace the leaders. -JJY ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Helle" <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "public list for an Empires in Arms game" <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 28, 2004 10:25 PM Subject: Re: [eia] French leaders > Hmmm.
