Re: [eia] Austrian land phase, March '05 |
I'm having trouble reading the Austrian orders. When the infantry corps at Mantua goes to Trieste, it forages successfully (without the loss of any factors) on a roll of 5 or less. So, I assume that's what Nate means by ">5". (FYI, we usually use "5-" to mean "5 or less".) However, if I am reading that correctly, then some of the rest of the forage values are incorrect. It's true that the corps at Salzburg would forage at 5-, but if you were to send the orders for that corps later in the land phase, it could forage automatically. The other corps (the infantry corps going to Linz and E. of Linz as well as the cav corps going to Vienna) all forage automatically, so I don't understand why it says ">5". Have I misunderstood what this means? kdh ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nate Ellefson" <nellefson@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 19, 2004 11:59 PM Subject: [eia] Austrian land phase, March '05 > Depot in Salzburg is removed. > > 1 IC in Manuta --> Venice, drops off 1I garrison --> Trieste, forages at > >5 > 1 IC in Salzburg remains in Salzburg, forages at >5 > 1 IC in Salzburg --> Linz, forages at >5 > 1 IC in Salzburg --> between Linz and Gratz, forages at >5 > 1 CC in Salzburg --> Vienna, forages at >5 > All other corps remain in place, forage at >5 > > > _______________________________________________ > eia mailing list > eia@xxxxxxxxx > http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia > _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
