I agree with not keeping the current possible ruleset, although maybe
amending it to two rulesets that interact might be interesting.

I've been lurking since era 2 (or 3) and have a collection of unread mails
from every era since. I'll try to make an effort to take part this time and
I'll see if I can find some initial rules suggestions.
