I only know of one reason somebody would want black socks. And it isn't a particularly useful one. Black Socks don't get you into the Corporation. They can't be sold back to the Corporation. They aren't even a prerequisite for being a VS in the Corporation. In fact, if I were short on mack, I'd probably sell my Sock pretty cheap right now. Maybe in some distant day we will once again assign a purpose to Black Socks. And then I'll be wishing I still had one. Until then, I want people to be clear on what they're buying into.
