I'm not sure a distinction between member and other terms applies across all contracts. But it does apply at least to Black Corp. Check its (former) Articles of Incorporation to see in point 2 how becoming a member was defined. Now, with the new Articles, there is no specified way to become a member. But the Rules of B themselves do not specify what a member is, ever.
