I can turn the field, but my question is whether I need to use the 
random move generator that has historically been sending rolls to the 
list, or whether I can automate this completely using my own dice and 
hosting as long as I supply source code and logs.

It has run hands-free on the Spork nomic for a week now I think. I'm 
happy to run it semi-manually for b.nomic but I'd rather be adding features.
