Those two socks Antonio held no longer had a sockholder as of the time he left. But does that mean their sockholder attribute automatically switched to the default value (the company)? I don't think that's necessarily the case. 4E11 only says "When created, the Value of an Instance is its Attribute's Default Value, unless otherwise specified." It doesn't say anything about what happens to the attribute when the instance (and its value) has already been created but its current value ceases to be part of the range...
