I have to agree, and I'm the one who proposed de-Spivakifying the ruleset in the first place. I actually joined Nomicapolis and Perlnomic long before B and Agora despite discovering the latter 2 first specifically because I was turned off by the Spivak. My intuition is that I'm probably not alone in that.
