You knew to invoke r699 when you originally attempted the actions, I'd
argue that that indicates you knew they weren't legal.

On a nearly-completely unrelated note, I'd pay 25 points to the first
person to throw a tomato at me and hit before the end of the nweek,
not that there's all that many people who can take me up on that
offer. It's a shame none of the Societies paid to maintain their vines
last checking period, too.
