Unfortunately, there's no provision, so we apply a blanket rationale and see if Dave's annoyed enough to agree. Maybe we should be allowed to Kick people for just being annoying... nah, that'd be abused 47 million times in the first day.-For Unbridled Hostility towards all other players in this game, I KickThe Pusher Robot in the Ass. Rationale: Granting oneself god powers is so passe.-I don't see how it's hostile, especially if it failed - doing nothing isn't unkind to anyone. And of course, if it succeeded, kicks in the ass aren't here anymore; so either way this fails.-My prop was no sillier or damaging than the last time I changed Rule 1 - to add the motto. Don't blame me for this lunacy.-Besides, if anyone ought to be kicked, it's everyone who voted for yourtwo silly props - random silliness is okay, but not as part of the rules.
You proposed to make us a Nation, and voted to repeal the laws of all nations...
-Yes, let's just make dour, serious props. Take all the silliness out. Yee-ha that sounds like fun. Whoop-de-freaking-do. We're gonna party all nweek long. Or we could continue to screw around in this game and actually keep it fun...-I think in the future we ought to make a habit of voting against silly proposals; the last one that passed (IT) also caused a lot of unintentional trouble, IIRC.
I don't mean stop making silly props, or even stop voting for them; I mean stop voting for silly props that shouldn't actually make a difference. Silly props are the basis of the game - things like Kicks in the Ass and Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster Gnomes are inherently silly - but things like "let's make us a nation", "let's destroy anything that's a nation", and "let's make something called IT that does nothing and everything so we can shoot CFI's at each other for a while" are needless silliness. It's like cheese. If you build a house out of string cheese, it's really silly, but at least it keeps the rain out until the dingos eat the walls. If you build a whiffle bat out of string cheese, it's really silly, but at least... no, it's just really silly. IID drives are like string cheese houses. Sovereignty declarations are like string cheese whiffle bats. In other words, let's not vote for silliness if it doesn't improve the game.
