RE: [spoon-discuss] "effects related to proposal failure" |
>>Your arm does not. Neither do failed proposals. >"The Ruleset may be altered only as provided therein. Rules are revisable objects." -r11 >"When a proposal fails, the following effects occur in order. ... Other effects specifically related to proposal failure, such as Charm and >Entropy adjustments, occur." -r15 >This would be an effect specifically related to proposal failure. It is legal. By that logic, so is Wonko's win for having posted a sentence declaring victory when a proposal fails. Or my win for having a piece of paper on my desk reading 'Whenever a proposal passes or fails, the rule "No Win For You" is deleted if it exists, and then I win.' Of course, you can't even prove that the paper exists, but that doesn't matter. You'll just have to take my word for it. Or not; it doesn't matter whether you trust me or not, seeing as the failed proposal has no effect either. -- Teucer "Let's vote on how to vote on how to vote!" -Adam Raizen ragnarok@xxxxxxxxx teucer@xxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ spoon-discuss mailing list spoon-discuss@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-discuss
