The new rules have been added already, but (as usual) I haven't yet updated the Roster to reflect all those changes. A few new rules were passed, Orc made my head explode again with a prop that changed about a zillion rules, all the quote props passed. The "only one Number Game guess per nweek" prop did pass, so Wonko can get rid of the obnoxious (though clever) automation script.
I do so.It was very tempting to declare that prop Fatally Flawed at the last possible second... that would have given me a Win... oh well... :)

Wonko cannot give any points to Teucer, as e has none. (Eir automation script takes them all away.) Wonko cannot give "20 points to everyone" for the same reason.Wonko cannot buy lots of Gnomes and Recycling Centers and Airspeeders andso forth for the same reason.
Actually, my Automation script says I give points to my society whenever I get points *not from the Cashbox*. So I should have exactly 250 points more than I had at the start of the nweek.

Everyone else who tried was just being either a copycat, spoilsport, or just plain cranky.)Yes, well, the result of that was that Wonko now has infinite points available to em. While there's a speed limit on players, there isn't one on societies, so if an infinite number of actions occurred, it means an infinite number of point-earning actions occurred. Each time Wonko earned points, they got transferred to eir society. So now the society has infinite points. Which Wonko can draw on as often as e wants, up to 250 per nweek. So Wonko will win in 3 nweeks' time. And since entropy meltdowns don't affect society holdings either, e can then go on to win each four nweeks thereafter. As opposed to those of us whose automation script changes weren't approved.Yeah, maybe I'm cranky. Might I suggest some additional player recognize an SOE?
I cease to recognize a SOE - the rejection of the other scripts makes this unnecessary (as mine doesn't cause any trouble anymore), and the entropy reset clears up any lingering confusion.
I also point out that my society is actually much less useful than you seem to think - it has been automatically giving me all the points it gets as soon as it gets (1000-(Wonko.score)) points; this is why I gained 250 points and infinite style; this is also why my society is now bankrupt.
So there's nothing to be cranky about. ------------- On Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 09:27 PM, SkArcher wrote:
