Except in my mind I didn't get the problem fixed, I suppose because I didn't convince you. Now, however, if we didn't spam everyone into a coma, they have read our arguments and understand my objection and your motivation. If they, like you, feel your way is needed to fix a perceived problem, you'll have convinced them. If they, like me, feel your way causes undesirable problems, I'll have convinced them. That's what public discussion is presumably for.

So I'll thank you not to tell me that I shouldn't have been trying to convince anyone but you. After all, if you were only trying to convince me with your counter arguments, they didn't have to go to -discuss either.

First, I'd like to apoligize for coming across as so cranky. I didn't mean it that way. What I meant was, a lot of the problems you had _did get fixed_, so others reading our thoughts both ways is a waste, as its no longer relevant. If, however, there still specific objections you had that I refused to acknowledge, then it would be in your and the game's interest to convince everyone of my folly, and everyone vote for who they believed. But 90% if not more is discussion on either points I fixed or points you aquiesced (sp?). As for why my replies went to -discuss, I was simply showing my point of view to everyone who had seen your problems, showing them that the problem was either fixed or never existed in the first place. But it's all moot, as I thought more people would be paying attention, and it's all said and done now.
Can we get along?
