There's an inherent conflict between "element in the game" and "REQUIRE ALMOST NOTHING FROM DAVE." Cuz, you see, if something goes wrong, he has to deal with it...or at least the resulting CFIs. >Oh, and where does the word Chutzpah come from, out of curiosity? I do too cut pieces out when I respond. I just respond big. As for Chutzpah, I've heard it variously defined as guts, nerves, balls, and, from the old RPG Paranoia: "That quality demonstrated when a man kills both his parents, then applies for benefits as an orphan." I believe it's Yiddish. >As I refine the uberprop (I apoligize to everyone sick of hearing about >it), >I keep finding ways to improve it. How about (now you can cough while I blow the dust off this one) Model 204? Objects in these languages/systems have attributes when they are given attributes. Formal record structures are relatively unknown. "Status" implies mutual exclusivity. "Property" gets into OOP, perhaps more than it should. Perhaps you should think in terms of MUSH coding, where objects have flags and attributes. >Ok, what else... >Oh yeah, I need a better word than catastrophe. It's too long and sounds >overdramatic.
