Re: [spoon-discuss] Re: [Spoon-business] Prop: Luck of the irish! |
Um, the only thing worse than a Casino with a 66.6% house advantage is one whose odds are in the Player's favor. As soon as the Casino opened, someone could buy several Leprechauns and squeeze them. The odds of winning go up significantly with each Leprechaun: Luck Odds ---- ----- 0 50.0% 1 52.8% 2 58.0% 3 65.3% 4 73.9% 5 83.0% 6 91.3% 7 96.2% 8 98.6% 9 99.7% 10 100% So as soon as the Casino opened, the Gremlin Fund would be milked for all it's worth. The cost of Leprechauns is cheap compared to the payoff. The only redeeming thing about this situation is that it is limited by the Gremlin Fund, so it's not an outright win-the-game point scam like Recycling.-The other redeeming thing about this is that all of those Leprechauns come from the fine folks over at vSOI. Hey, I can buy a few Gnomes, make my points back, then be refunded when the Account hits 100. I like it... Maybe we should all vote for the "score increase < 200 per nweek" prop...-
