If you consider "infinity" as the solution to the equation x=x+50 (note that you have to go outside the real numbers to do this, not a pretty thing to do in a nomic) then why can't it equally well be negative infinity? Math teachers aren't just being a pain in the ass when they are adamant about the distinction between "infinite" and "undefined". And I maintain that universal entropy is not above maximum entropy, because there _is_ no number there to be above anything at all. -- Rob Speer
