The debts get destroyed when "payment has been made" (R358). Of course, since I have not paid anything to the bank, one might claim that new debts are created whenever I pay them to myself. But rule 358 states that "payment has been made [...], satisfying the debt." This means by making payment the debt is satisfied (ok, it might also simply be a definition of payment). But even if I do continue to owe points to the bank, I'm not required to pay them back because there isn't any debt that would actually require such payment. And if new debts are created, I can repeat the same process again and again. Until someone fixes the rules, at least. Joerg
