[s-b] THE MOST NOBLE AND RESPECTABLE RULESET OF THE NOMIC FORMERLY KNOWN AS B: |
#25 should exist twice since #27 did not exist at the time it was created again, and we did have two players identified as 0x44. (I have updated the rules to include this and have renumbered all other rules after this point by 1). "Also, all 0x44s support preventing "Two People are Two People" having been created." I find this statement false since I also supported it before it was voted against, it is however currently INVALID and only needs one more vote either way to turn it back on or delete. Can anyone clarify what is being submitted to the Redactor: everything / Rules / or Rule Changes? I have updated the rules below using Turiksi last posted set and updated from the thread and Arkady. I have left the amendment in the Redactor because they were all thought to be submitted to the Redactor and this IS a rule change, unfortunately based on current games convention the loophole being fixed leaves the previously created rules with the starting phrase: "I create a new rule with the following {{{ }}}-delimited text:" because this change was submitted after these rules, and the amendment being placed in the Redactor causes the last one to be similarly created although it would have made no difference otherwise. The alternative is to retroactively change the rulesset which is hard enough to track at the moment anyway. I create the following "{{{" "}}}" delimited rules: (I think I do anyway, rather than submit to the Redactor as they do not amend current rule text). {{{ Title: Preventing Conflict If two or more rules defer to each other, then the rule with the highest value shall take take priority over the one with the lower value. If any rules in conflict have the same value, then the rule with the lowest identifying number takes precedence. }}} {{{ Title: No Dramatic Changes Please! Players may not vote (or rate) rules that have been created prior to the week of declaring their intention to join the game, except by public invitation of at least half the known players. }}} This is not the best wording but is meant to stop a number of players joining and reversing most of the rules before we can react. {{{ Title: 3 is the Key Players may not submit more than a total of 3 rules, or rule changes, in a consecutive manner. Other game actions must also follow this rule except where they are governed by another similar rule. }}} I support: #30, #32, and all changes currently stuck in the now ON Redactor, although the Redactor was OFF when Turiski proposed eir change it WAS sent to the Redactor. I do not support: #31 (mainly because any rules sharing any text, for example the words "the" or "and" will cause the deletion of most of the ruleset, although I do appreciate what you were trying to fix), I submit the following rules as I have interpreted them for public approval. I delete the following rules due to have a value of less than 0: #27 I submit to the Redactor the following CREAMPUFF delimited text: CREAMPUFF Remove the text "I create a new rule with the following {{{ }}}-delimited text:" from rules 31,32 and 33 Delete rules: 22,23 and 24 and resubmit them to the Redactor with their current support as follows: Amend rule 15: Remove the text "A rule having a value of less than 1 is invalid.
