[s-b] Proposal, Contract, and Repeal of Articles |
I submit the following Proposal titled, "I prefer Waffles": {{ Amend Rule 70 by replacing the following text: {{ As a Game Action a Player may create a Game Document known as a Contract. }} with {{ A Player, as a Game Action without Objection, may create a Game Document known as a Contract. }} Destroy the Contract known as the Articles of Pancake. }} I submit the following Contract titled, "Waffles": {{ Article 0: The B-Nomic Player known as Hose may modify this contract in any way, at any time. Article 1: The set of Articles this contract, agreement or other regulation consists of is known as the Articles of Pancake. Any regulation consisting of the Articles of Pancake is a Branch of Pancake. Pancake can only be changed as the Articles of Pancake allow; if Pancake is changed, all Branches of Pancake update to reflect the change. Article 2: Even if a Branch of Pancake appears in a certain context, the Articles of Pancake are not to be interpreted in any context other than itself, the English language, common sense, and Nomic convention, unless an Article states otherwise. If an Article is in a Nomic's Section, it is also to be interpreted in the context of that Nomic. Article 3: Every Actor is a First-, Second-, or Third-Class Actor. These Classes can also be referred to as classes One, Two and Three respectively. Class One is higher than Class Two, which is higher than Class Three. First- and Second-Class Actors may be referred to collectively as Higher Actors. By default, an entity is not a Actor, and by default, an Actor is of the lowest Class possible. Article 4: If the Articles state that a person can perform an action, it can be performed by sending a pancake message. A message to a public forum, as the term is defined by Agora or B Nomic, is a pancake message if its subject line contains the word "Pancake". Article 5: Any Actor can submit a Suggestion, which is a list of changes to be made to the state of Pancake. Any Higher Actor can vote FOR, AGAINST or ABSTAIN on a Suggestion; if an Actor votes more than once, only eir most recent vote counts. Article 6: Seven days after a Suggestion is submitted, if it has more FOR votes than AGAINST votes, its changes take effect. Article 7: If there is no evidence that two entities are the same entity, they are to be considered different entities. - Agora Nomic Section Article 8: Every first-class person who is a party to this contract is a Higher Actor. Every Higher Actor that is a Senator is a First-Class Actor. Every party to this contract is an Actor. Article 9: The Articles of Pancake are a public contract and a pledge. - B Nomic Section Article 10: Every Player who is a party to this Contract is a First-Class Actor. }} I repeal Articles 1-10 in the Contract known as Waffles. [[ And this should repeal them in all branches, eh? ]] - Hose _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
