[Spoon-business] prop:Automation

I propose the following rule:
{{__Automation__
Each Player may have an Automation Script. This Script is a list of conditions, and Actions (called Auto Actions) that Player takes when those conditions happen. If it is legal to do so, when the conditions for Actions are met, the Player takes those Actions. Actions at the same time that other Actions are taking place or pending (like the actions that happen at the end of an nweek), they instead become pending until all other actions (except other Auto Actions) that became pending afterwards) and their results finish resolving. Players do not take Auto Actions if there are any restrictions on eir posts to Public Forums and eir Automation Script does not meet those conditions.

A Player may change eir Automation Script at any time, including while the Clock is Off or e is On Leave. Automation Scripts may only be changed as specified in the rules. The Administrator may choose to refuse any change to an Automation Script (other than one that removes all contents of it) or any Automation Action for any reason, including but not limited to it causeing confusion, it putting an undue burden on em, it breaking the game, it causing a paradox or unknown state of the game, or it having unintended consequences.
}}

There. Now BvS can have an Automation Script that says "At the beginning of each nweek, I give M-Tek X Bandwidth." Or, if you want to be incremental, "I give 1 Bandwidth to M-Tek if it has 0 Bandwidth.", so he gives M-Tek one at the beginning of each nweek, then again after each prop. Or another automation script. Whatever.

I've had this idea for some time, but wanted to introduce a new timing sytem before this, but since people are wanting to do things automatically, having one place for automatic player actions, fully under eir control, seems the best way to do it.

I still fail to see why BvS wants to automate giving bandwidth. If it's to save Iain, there's a prop out there to save anyone who wants to be saved, without chaining em to M-Tek. BvS, could you please enlighten me?
