Re: [Spoon-business] NWEEK 23 BALLOT

>Proposal 991/1: Fixing The Bandwidth (Wonko)

No. Too clumsy. And it eliminates any definition of 1/2 a proposal, or how 1/2 of a proposal can be made, yet it still provides a rule for its bandwidth. And, if, as Wonko says, one rule can supercede the others, regardless of having to obey ALL rules, this rule eliminates fractional bandwidth for club props and zero bandwidth for judgment props.

>Proposal 993/0: Funny, he doesn't look Druish... (Wonko)

>Proposal 995/0: Service Malls (Wonko)

A reluctant yes. I see what Wonko's doing...e's creating a rubber stamp for collections of entities that are created as a set on the grid. But this could have been done better.

>Proposal 996/1: This Island Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 997/1: Cleanliness (Wonko)

>Proposal 998/1: More Cleanliness (Wonko)

No. Have the Administrator make ad hoc changes to rule text? I don't think so. Especially considering uin's famous "Rule 1 reads as follows:" CFJ.

>Proposal 999/1: Spiffiness with Speeders (Wonko)

No. If the Service Mall proposal doesn't pass, this has a hole in it.

>Proposal 1000/3: Crime Doesn't Pay (Wonko)

No. It's dependent on service malls, I don't like those floating grid cells, and it doesn't say how cops come out of hiding.

>Proposal 1001/0: Wealthy Bastard goes Public (Wonko)

No. This is a violation of r578.G.1, which regulates the method by which proposals can create societies. Besides, I don't see why we should vote for Wonko having a profit center.

>Proposal 1002/0: Stop It! (Wonko)

No. We're all pains in the ass. It's part of the definition of the game.

BTW, I don't think this counts as a limerick, per r437.A.2. The fourth line has too many syllables.

>Proposal 1003/0: It's Tango Time! (Wonko)

Abstain. Mixed thoughts about a get-out-of-siren-range-free card.

>Proposal 1004/2: Improving Speeders (Wonko)

No, since it's dependent on WBE, which is a Wonko freebie and illegal in its current form.

>Proposal 1005/1: A New World to Explore... and Conquer (Baron von Skippy)

No. I like the idea of more lands, but don't really want them adjacent to the grid.

>Proposal 1006/0: Club B -- A Member of the Club A Family of Fine Clubs

>Proposal 1007/0: Just What IS Level Ground Anyway? (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1008/1: Your Flat or Mine? (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1011/0: Nweek 23 Insta-Prop (House Grem)

>Proposal 1012/0: Repeal Rule 408! (The Voice)

No. Brooks are useful.

>Proposal 1013/0: Less is More: Capital Resources (Baron von Skippy)

No. Raw materials should not be so freely available.

>Proposal 1014/0: Repeal Rule 469! (The Voice)

Abstain. Too much sentimental value.

>Proposal 1015/0: DimShips are gone, I tell you! (The Voice)

No. If we don't need dimspace, we don't need three metrics. Or, for that matter, the entire rule.

>Proposal 1016/0: Night of the Living Dead Stock Market (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1017/0: From the Swirling Mists (Squire of Dimness)

>Proposal 1020/0: Wonko: 5, Game: 1 (Baron von Skippy)

No. There's still meat on that bone.

>Proposal 1021/0: vSOI v.2 (Baron von Skippy)

No. The whole proposal should have been dependent on p1005; otherwise, if p1005 fails, points will be skimmed for no purpose.

>Proposal 1022/0: Nowhere to Go but Down (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1023/0: Less is More: Bonus Boxes (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1025/0: Default Chutzpah (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1026/0: The Infamous Rule 6! (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1027/0: What the Hell IS Bandwidth? (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1028/0: Mr. Luigi, This is Your Wakeup Call (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1029/0: Ambassador Biweekly v.2 (Athena)

Yes. This is workable.

>Proposal 1030/0: You can't have THAT crazy a New Nyear (Athena)

>Proposal 1031/0: Eddit the Not-Powerful (Baron von Skippy)

Yes. And where's that bread and wine?

>Proposal 1032/0: Scarf Prop (The Voice)

>Proposal 1033/0: Nseasons, Mk3 (The Voice)

>Proposal 1034/0: Friends shouldn't let friendsh proposh drunk (Baron von

No. As per the title.

>Proposal 1035/0: Wind (Again) (The Voice)

Shelve. Let's see this include airspeeders too.

>Proposal 1036/0: Less is More: Beverages (The Voice)

>Proposal 1037/0: Let's Give 'Em A Hand! (The Voice)

>Proposal 1038/0: Damn It, Glotmorf (The Voice)

No. Smack yerselves for not voting for my rollback proposal. All this could have been prevented. In fact, it still can...But more specifically, this rule can work with all the old stocks gone.

>Proposal 1040/0: Olive Trees (Athena)

No. This is a rich-get-richer, if entropy is somehow kept low for long enough. And the purpose of olive oil isn't defined.

>Proposal 1041/0: Obsolete Reference Fix (The Voice)

No. The King isn't dead! I saw him working in a Burger King!

>Proposal 1042/0: Repeal Rule 298! (The Voice)

No. The Voice forgets the nonsense that prompted that LOGAS entry.

>Proposal 1043/0: A limit on the power of Faith (Wonko)

Yes. Especially since Wonko just tried to nuke my score.

>Proposal 1044/0: Been there, Done that, Bought the T-shirt (Wonko)

No. Titles will do nicely.

>Proposal 1045/0: Here now, don't start that again! (Wonko)

Shelve. Make it a lower limit.

>Proposal 1046/0: Repeal Rule 753! (The Voice)

>Proposal 1047/0: Repeal Rule 817! (The Voice)

Abstain. More sentimental value.

>Proposal 1048/0: Chads, Hanging and Otherwise (The Voice)

No. Some people make props which deserve to fail.

>Proposal 1049/3: The Power of Dave (Wonko)

No. You didn't say which nweek's ballot the proposal must be in. This could be used to retroactively change rules.

>Proposal 1050/0: NomiCrack (Squire of Dimness)

Shelve. Needs a Chutzpah.

>Proposal 1051/0: Just Gotta Flick This Lil' Switch... (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1052/0: Hey, Why Can't We Just Start Over? (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1055/0: Fun with Food (Athena)

No, because of the olives. Sorry.

>Proposal 1057/0: So You Want to be a Writer.... (Glotmorf)

>Proposal 1059/0: Fix the scotch (Wonko)

No. There's already a formula for a Scottish Gnome.

>Proposal 1060/1: The Royal Flush (Wonko)

No. It doesn't say how to modify the rule.

>Proposal 1061/0: The Hand of Hands (Wonko)

No. It doesn't say how to modify the rule.

>Proposal 1062/0: The International Stop Symbol (Wonko)

No. It doesn't say how to modify the rule.
