spoon-business: P406 revision |
Someone (I don't recall exactly who it was) mentioned the difficulty of distinguishing between game actions and non-game actions if the actions are Rules-mandated. Such an approach sounds more promising to me than the one we've been discussing. I think this would render harmless Rules like R350. This covers way different ground from PurpleBob's P411, and may even be compatible with it. Have a look: This is a complete revision of P406: BEGIN Create a new Rule entitled "Impossible Actions" "No Agent shall be required to take an action if there is no public fora in which that action would be possible. Any Rule or portion thereof that would require such actions of an Agent shall have no effect." END And the revision is recognized as P406/1. On a related note, please vote for P401, so we can eliminate this recognition business. :) -- J.
