Re: [eia] garrisons in newly-neutral minors |
Thus spake "J.J. Young": > I was about to say that Prussia didn't go into the Instability zone because o > f their PSD drift, but then I remembered that Austria and Prussia were allied > , so an additional -2 PP were lost for breaking the alliance. > > What happens to the Prussian garrison at Erfurt ? Do the limited access rule > s apply when a minor goes neutral ? Access applies only to territories held by other major powers---you never need access to cross minor neutrals. According to 10.5.2.3: "Garrison factors (NOT corps, freikorps, or cossacks in garrison) of the controlling major power MUST be immediately removed from the minor country following the honors of war rules (see 7.5.4.1.2.3.1--in this case, it can be done by Spanish and Turkish garrisons)." So the garrisons take honors of war and end up... someplace else. I don't have my map handy right now. -- J. _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
