RE: [eia] 2nd Battle of the Forth, Coalition roll |
Actually the INTERCEPTING power is the attacker, so the French lose as the attacker... (They could actually have let you go through, but choose to attack/intercept). So Britain/Russia dodge this bullet... Actually, I think this combat is treated as an attack by my side (but check me on this), so I have to beat your casualties to win. 17 French-controlled X 25 % = 4 losses 19 - 4 = 15 remaining Coalition 15 X 25% = 4 losses So assuming that I understand the rules correctly, our fleets are scuttled, my army is destroyed, and my leader may or may not be captured. I guess it's going to be a long campaign. -JJY Quoting Dice server <dicemaster@xxxxxxxxx>: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Dice rolls requested by: jjy@xxxxxxxxxxx > Rolls sent to: > eia@xxxxxxxxx > > # I & II Russian fleets with 14 ships > # III British fleet with 5 ships > # Total force of 19 ships > # Wind guage is automatically lost > # Roll is for combat with a British +1 > > No. of sides on every die: 6 > No. of dice for every roll: 1 > No. of dice rolls requested: 2 > No. of rolls per line: 1 > > 6 > 3 > > > Information on the dice server: > DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE! > Replies to dicemaster@xxxxxxxxx vanish into a seldom-read mailbox. > > For instructions on using the dice server, send a message with > subject "help" to dice@xxxxxxxxx, or see http://www.nomic.net/~dice/. > > The dice server is provided by: > > nomic.net > http://www.nomic.net/ > > > Original message follows: > >Return-Path: <jjy@xxxxxxxxxxx> > >X-Original-To: dice@xxxxxxxxx > >Delivered-To: dice@xxxxxxxxx > >Received: from mailbox.iwaynet.net (webmail.iwaynet.net [66.195.224.30]) > > by charybdis.ellipsis.cx (Postfix) with ESMTP id B7365EA49 > > for <dice@xxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 14 Mar 2006 12:06:49 -0600 (CST) > >Received: from mailbox.iwaynet.net (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) > > by mailbox.iwaynet.net (8.13.1/8.13.1) with ESMTP id k2EI7SVs001025 > > for <dice@xxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 14 Mar 2006 13:07:28 -0500 > >Received: (from nobody@localhost) > > by mailbox.iwaynet.net (8.13.1/8.13.1/Submit) id k2EI7Stl001017 > > for dice@xxxxxxxxx; Tue, 14 Mar 2006 13:07:28 -0500 > >X-Authentication-Warning: mailbox.iwaynet.net: nobody set sender to > jjy@xxxxxxxxxxx using -f > >Received: from 164.83.99.83 ( [164.83.99.83]) > > as user jjy@localhost by webmail.iwaynet.net with HTTP; > > Tue, 14 Mar 2006 13:07:28 -0500 > >Message-ID: <1142359648.441706602e675@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > >Date: Tue, 14 Mar 2006 13:07:28 -0500 > >From: jjy@xxxxxxxxxxx > >To: dice@xxxxxxxxx > >Subject: 2nd Battle of the Forth, Coalition roll > >MIME-Version: 1.0 > >Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 > >Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit > >User-Agent: Internet Messaging Program (IMP) 3.1 > >X-Originating-IP: 164.83.99.83 > > > >#P eia@xxxxxxxxx > >#S 6 > >#D 1 > >#R 2 > >#L 1 > >#C I & II Russian fleets with 14 ships > >#C III British fleet with 5 ships > >#C Total force of 19 ships > >#C Wind guage is automatically lost > >#C Roll is for combat with a British +1 > >#T 2nd Battle of the Forth, Coalition roll > > > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.1 (GNU/Linux) > > iD8DBQFEFwY8ji3Dv2PP/ewRAi7pAKDC2esZXCiBniy1fi5kJLm6XXvimACgzlr6 > cHXvsZTNUvfXVob0Qpz9ytU= > =B1Wq > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > _______________________________________________ > eia mailing list > eia@xxxxxxxxx > http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia > > _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
