Thus spake "J.J. Young": > Can a corps be landed inside a besieged city and still participate in a = > limited field battle to relieve that city on the same turn ? If so, = > would that battle still be modified as for an amphibious landing ? There's no rule against landing a corps in a besieged port that I can see, and any corps landed so would immediately become part of the garrison. So, yes, I think such a corps could participate in a relief combat, and by 7.3.5 I think doing so would count as having crossed a river into combat. -- J. _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
