London is undergarrisoned. This is a good point, JJ. The siege table specifically states that a sortie is allowed on a "-1 to 1" roll, indicating that sorties can only be undertaken by garrisons that are _not undergarrisoned_. I think the group has probably been handling this wrong in the past (but am not really interested in researching the archives to verify this). Therefore, France will not lose a factor to the British sortie as I agree this was an illegitimate maneuver. -----Original Message----- From: J.J.
