Re: [eia] relief battle clarification |
I don't agree. I think this rules set applies whenever a field battle is fought against forces laying siege to a city. The line, "or such relieving forces attack without assistance from any part of the besieged force, a 'limited' field combat instead of a defender attack combat is fought." implies to me that these rules are intended to kick in whenever the defending force is besieging a city. -JJY ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Uckelman" <uckelman@xxxxxxxxx> To: <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 22, 2005 8:41 PM Subject: [eia] relief battle clarification > For the battle about to take place at Glogau, my understanding is that my > army does not count as a relieving force, because I am attacking sometime > other than during the besieged garrison's land phase.
