    I'm not sure that your conditional garrison detachment strategy is
legitimate.  I thought that you had to complete your land orders before
rolling supply for a given corps.  That means you would also have to make
choices about how many garrison factors to detach before rolling supply.
(If all the factors in the corps are wiped out by a forage roll, then no
garrison could be detached.  However, it is possible to leave a garrison,
and then have the rest of the corps wiped out by the forage roll.  It seems
like that might have been the result of this situation had you left a 1 inf
garrison prior to rolling.)
    I might be wrong about this, but I thought that's how we played it
before.  In any case, I remember making some hard choices about whether to
leave a garrison in my previous incarnation as France.
