E.G., if I had lost the battle E. of Milan, would Kyle:

a) Have to retreat me to Bologna (closest ally depot)
b) Have a choice of retreating me toward Salzburg or Leghorn
c) Must retreat me toward Salzburg.

Same question if I had chosen withdraw and did so successfully.  Does
that change anything?
