    Mike is right.  It doesn't matter in principle.  We aggregate our totals
when we report them because that's the way the game designers did it in
their example on page 38 of the rulebook.  And despite Mike's point that it
doesn't make a real difference, I think I'd like to stick with it (out of
habit if for no other reason).
