Re: [ALACPP] [OT] team management skills

You might want to do some investigation into the Drexler-Sibbet Team Performance Model (there are several sites if you google; The Grove, http://www.grove.com/about/model_tp.html, is the authoritative source). It's been a favorite of training managers and team leaders for over a decade, yours truly included.

A session I attended where I was trained in the model gave some great ideas on communication, but I'll have to dig up my materials (not currently leading a team). Websites I have found are usually ads for team training consultants, but who knows, there might be a book out there somwhere...

Hi,

For library school, I'm in the process of a) being on a team with 5
other people, b) writing a 30 page "chapter of a book" with those
people, c) specifically writing the small section of the chapter on
"communication" with a special focus on "team communication".

Anyone have any favorite book/article/website/whatever that they would
offer as a "how to" on "team communication"?

I've been told I'm not just supposed to list war stories...

Thanks,
