[ALACPP] Thursday Night's Agenda |
1. Introductions & Announcements 2. Book vote -- which book will the discussion group read next? The email at the bottom lists the current ballot. If you have any others you'd like to nominate, speak up. 3. Meeting discussion -- do you want to see regular night meetings, more in the vein of LAJUG? What other things would you like the group to do? 4. Presentation -- EventHandler. Functors are playing a large role in C++ these days: using the STL effectively requires them, Alexandrescu devotes a chapter to them, and Boost is constantly improving them. I'll discuss an extension of Boost::function, EventHandler, and demonstrate its practical application of policies and Boost's Preprocessor library. 5. Drinking! See you all Thursday night!
