One of my Nomice (another nomic, now in progress) players wrote an elegant little 
vote counter which we've been using satisfactorily.  It even has the players 
inputting their own proposals as well as making their votes.  There are some 
differences in practice, of course.  I don't know if he'd share, but if you like I can 
put you together off-list.
