[[Monsters can attack too now]]
Add the following rule to section 10:
{{
==Monsters==

Monsters are Household Objects. Monsters are tools. If a player owns two monsters then they are both destroyed unless stated otherwise. If a Monster has no owner then it will act autonomously and will follow any static or triggered effects listed under its effects.

Each monster has an Attitude which must be one of Calm, Shy, Territorial, Violent.
A monster with an attitude of Shy will exit the room it's in if another player enters the room it's in or attacks it. It will pick randomly but will always exit to an playerless room if able.

Each monster has a pair of attributes called Strength and Health. These attributes can vary from copy to copy after being created. These attributes have a range of 0 to 60.

Players may attempt to tame a monster as a game action. If a player successfully tames a monster, which is determined by that monsters triggered effects, that monster is now owned by that player.

Monsters may attack mosters and players just like players do; however, combat ends each period unless the monster has an attitude of violent. Whenever there would normally be a change in Alertness or Calm if it were a player, the monster's Health is changed instead. Whenever there would normally be a change in Nibmleness or Acuity if it were a player, the monster's Strength is changed instead.
}}

Create the following monsters:
{{
== The Koogum ==

Attitude::Calm
Strength::6
Health::30

Description:: A dark, shadowy being of uncertain origin, the Koogum swoops silently through the house late at night, bringing a chill to anyone caught in its path. A feeling of sheer terror strikes all except the fools, the hardy and the foolhardy.

Effects:

If at the beginning of an even period one player has more calm than any other player, The Koogum moves a room on the shortest path to that player. If there is more than one shortest path then one is chosen at random. If there is no direct path to that player then The Koogum does not move.

If at the end of a period a player occupies the same room as The koogum and neither owns The Koogum nor has less calm than another player, that player loses 3 calm. [[ If you have 30 calm you'll start losing calm even in a tie unless you can manage to tame it]]

If a player attempts to tame The Koogum, that player succedes if e hasn't less strength or less Health than The Koogum.

If at the end of a period a player occupies the same room as The Koogum and is asleep, The Koogum wakes that player and that player's alertness is set to 30 and that player's calm is reduced by 6.

==Common Brown Bat==

Attitude: Calm
Strength:4
Health: 15

Effects::

Sacrifice: You gain a Bat Shard.

2 GC: Attack a player or monster

If a player attempts to tame a Common Brown Bat that is unowned, the bat attacks that player and when combat has ended that player is successful.

}}

Create the following talisman:
{{
== Bat Shard ==

Cost:: 30 GC
Rarity:: Common
Type::Shard
Appearance:: A small brown crystal.
Effects:: Sacrifice:: You gain a Common Brown Bat in the same room as you.
}}
Set the new gibberish word to be "Zyxabee".
