Isn't it redundant? You can't change the past of the game for the same
reason you can't change the past of anything else - it already
happened, and time flows forwards. You *can* propose something of the
form "Set the state of the game to what it would currently be had X
been true last week", but even that's iffy, because you can't be sure
what would have happened had X been true.
