Well, it basically turns the game into finding a loophole that allows one
to change the rule to allow emself to win. It was designed to be used as a
starting point to define what a "win" is.

Adding some other method of awarding a win (such as by adding points to
the game, and achieving some number of points, for instance) would be a
perfectly reasonable proposal to propose, if someone wanted to do that.
