The lettering system is weird.. I have no problem with breaking conventions,
but i think confusion will be avoided if A is the leftmost column, as it
usually is in such coordinate systems. Other than this, i like it. I can
just see myself having tons of fun making lots of new rules for it, and then
never using them...
