Re: [spoon-discuss] RE: [Spoon-business] NWEEK 42 RESULTS

They are as follows:

First, roll 1d7.

If it is a 1, then the Moon is New and Waxing, and the Tide is High.
If it is a 2 or a 3, then the Moon is Crescent.
If it is a 4, then the Moon is Quarter and the Tide is Low.
If it is a 5 or a 6, then the Moon is Gibbous.
If it is a 7, then the Moon is Full and Waning, and the Tide is High.

If the Moon was New before this update, it is Waxing.
If the Moon was Full before this update, it is Waning.

If you still don't know whether the Moon is Waxing or Waning, flip a coin.

If you don't know yet what the Tide is, roll 1d8. If the result is a three
or lower, then the Tide is High. Otherwise, of course, it is Low.

The cycles just make everything crazy, but don't matter for another day. The
Moon would simply go to the next phase that it would have in real life, but
don't affect the Tide. That is, if it was Waxing then it grows, and if it
was Waning then it shrinks.

-All I want to know is: Why couldn't this have been cyclical, like the seasons?-
