-Well, I'm not sure what we'd do with the third. One thought - we could 
split the Source. After all, it is inherently split. There could be the 
ministry of saidin, the male half, and saidar, the female half. Two, we 
could link this to religion. We have gods, after all. What if people could 
invoke them for fun effects? And three... hmm... has anyone ever played the 
game Deus Ex? What if instead of developing mystical powers, you could 
upgrade yourself? You would only have so many "augmentation slots" to fill, 
so you'd have to pick and choose, and you could upgrade them, and... there 
could be something here.-

-Sure it is. You would still be able to fling destruction at people, but 
some of them... let's see, I recall references in the second Wheel of Time 
book to fireballs "the size of a horse." And something in the fourth about 
lightnings searching the halls of a fortress, striking down every last 
member of an invading army. It helps if you don't think of it as 
competition. Think of it as a potential co-master of the universe.-
