IMO, it's confusing.  Could you change it to some word other than 'ratio', 
and explictly state that each player has a dimension?  I understand what 
you're saying, but we need to be clear on the rules, or everything goes 
nuts.  And not always in a good way.

And ye gods, I would never underestimate the value of print statements.  
That's incomprehensible.  Like telling a farmer to never sow salt.
