Re: [spoon-discuss] responses to BvS

From: "Baron von Skippy" <baronvonskippy@xxxxxxxxxxx>
-There a short version to this?-

Sorry. I would write a synopsis, but it would most likely leave out little details, and those details could matter, and even if they didn't, someone would feel it important to bring the little details back up anyway. Hey, you only have 3 emails to deal with.
-Eh, I sort of remembered what it was about when I read the CFI. It's okay now.-

--------

CFJ 1152/1 I judge TRUE.

You do realize that this is completly against current rules? Societies cannot force eir members to do anything. All Societies can do is encourage with such things as continued membership and dividends of profits and whatever. While that CFI may have been true a while back, it no longer is. This is the core of my change to Societies; I don't know why everyone keeps acting like it's not true.
-*blank stare* I think it's not against them now, unless I'm too late to judge.-

It's still against the current rules. Societies are somewhat like players, able to perform actions (including trying to punish or reward someone), but they cannot force anything. One wierd thing now is that people can rack up huge debts with a society, and leave other players to pay the debt.

But it doesn't matter, as I have judged them.

You mus have missed the line that starts out "Destroy all societies". Byebye vSOI.
-How about "bye-bye bd's proposal?" Why the hell would I want to see all societies destroyed? I'm a member of all of them except for M-Tek.-

I agree with you. I see nothing I like in this proposal.

Respectfully,
